Life and landscape has changed quite dramatically since then and it would almost certainly not be possible to undertake such a journey following the same route today. Chris wrote the text based on his notes of the time, and using photographs taken by Kate on her camera of the day - a Box Brownie. And they even attracted press coverage from the local Welsh newspapers! The book has 96 pages with 35 colour and black and white illustrations.
