This entertaining film, an interview with John Paddy Browne, whose poetry book Not Thinking Straight is available from our Book Shop, has been made by his daughter Kareena. Talking about his fascinating life, he includes his early friendship with artist Sven Berlin which led to 25 years of correspondence. John Paddy also has many links with the New Forest and its environs, including bringing the world of folk music in the 1950s to Southampton (the Fo'csle Club) and as a cartographic librarian for the Ordnance Survey.
It's a meaningful and thoughtful insight, carefully put together with archive family photographs and memorabilia. Thanks to Kareena for permission to share it here.
