The Horse of Selene | Juanita Casey

Juanita Casey (formerly the wife of artist Sven Berlin) wrote this memorable classic novel,  of the 1960s when she travelled to Ireland with her third husband Fergus Casey. It was first published in 1971.  This new edition includes a fascinating Afterword by American academic Mary Burke who has studied the world of the traveller community in Ireland and who has a special interest in Irish literature.
